Gandhi and his ‘Spiritual Wife’

Well I read this piece of article in The Tribune, dated Saturday, June 2, 2007 (Saturday Extra supplement).

The article goes something like this :

…There was a woman in Mahatma Gandhi’s life with whom he had contemplated ‘spiritual’ marriage. Rajmohan Gandhi’s recent book on the Mahatma more than hinted at this alliance. V.N. Datta, a historian who has been researching this relationship, talks to The Tribune and attempts to reconstruct the strong bond between Gandhi and Saraladevi, a niece of Rabindranath Tagore

Who was Saraladevi Chowdharani and how did she impact the life of one of India’s greatest sons, Mahatma Gandhi? She stares poignantly out of the early 20th century black and white pictures, clad in rich silk sarees and her black hair flowing loose…

Manmohan Singh invites hotties home!

Now here’s a hilarious piece of news… Security Breach at the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s Residence.

Yes, two hotties along with a gay looking bloke entered the Prime Minister’s residence, 7 RCR (Race Course Road). They drove up to the main gate in a black Sonata which bore the registration number “DL4C V 0006“. The security personnel outside the main gate let the three in without checking anything!! Maybe they were intimidated by the three zeroes in the registration number :P !

I mean, its totally cool. The girl drove the car to the area where the VIP’s get down from their cars (I think) - the second gate. Thats where the security people refused to let them in. Even then, no one stopped them. A very hot looking chick got down from the back, took out her cellphone & made a call (in short, posed for the cameras). They reversed the car and while driving at a speed of about say 5 kmph, the girl on the driver’s seat blew flying kisses at the cameras!! Awesome!! A totally “vellah” reporter, Rahul Srivastav of NDTV actually followed the car and interviewed the driver. She was not hesistant and coolly gave the interview. The three are from Jaipur and had come to Delhi to spend their holiday. The hotties are working with Sahara Airlines as Air Hostess’.

Now the police are looking into the matter. What man… they were just a bunch of drunk kids… let them go… question the security personnel instead.

They just “jokingly” went inside cause they wanted to “meet the PM and discuss something”. OK… even I wanna meet the Governor. Any hotties ready to accompany me ?? But wait… I’m just allowed to drive a Maruti 800… what the fuck… I have no chance of getting my 15 seconds of fame :( !

Maybe this was supposed to be a secret meeting between the PM and the hotties but the media ruined the party. Man… the PM sure is lucky… hot girls come to meet him and that too at night. Lage raho Manu Bhai!!!

Update : The NDTV correspondent has interviewed both the girls. The names are : Yogita (the driver), Veena (the poser) and Imran (the gay). Veena is definitely the hotter of the two and all three of them were drunk. Yogita was blowing kisses and waving like a freak, Veena didn’t know her cleavage was there for all to see on national television and Imran… well Imran knew nothing. He was dazed and didn’t know what was happening. Veena admitted on camera that it was just a silly prank and was inquiring from the reporter if it was serious and would they be sent to jail for this act. The security breach happened around 8.45 PM. The PMO (Prime Minister’s Office) says that this is not a security breach. People are allowed to go upto the reception. The journalists and other so-called experts don’t agree though.

Reverse Discrimination

Here’s an interesting piece of news.

Brahmins in Uttar Pradesh have been denied the job of sweepers because they belong to a very “high caste”. About 1/4th of the candidates were rejected because their caste was highfor the job of a sweeper.

Now will the govt. reserve jobs for people belonging to the upper castes who want to do menial jobs?

Mr. Arjun Singh, I’m waiting for you to answer this question.

Wake Up!

This was on the front page of The Tribune today.
WAKE UP!

Lets wake up. Let us fight for our rights. Let us all join the medical students. Now its not just about the reservations! Stand up for what is right. The govt. needs to be taught a lesson.

They can’t stop the rioters in Gujrat. The policemen themselves rape young girls. Criminals like Manu Sharma roam about freely. The police only acts (lathicharges) when there are peaceful protests. FUCK YOU! Plain and simple!!

Callous Cops

I’m starting the Reservation debate again.

I see images of the Police lathi charging the doctors and it fills me with anger instantly. What have the students done to deserve a beating? They just sit there quietly shouting slogans or sitting on a dharna.

The same thing happened in Gurgaon last year when the police behaved in a brutal manner with the workers of Honda. They are doing the same again.

These children are educated citizens. They are not indulging in vandalism. Unlike vagabonds, they are peacefully asking for the fulfillment of their demands. But it seems that the police and the government just do what they think is right. Peaceful protesters are greeted with teargas and sticks. The students can’t and don’t even retaliate.

The police is behaving in a very uncivilized manner. I seriously wish Arjun Singh dies.
I’m eighteen, entitled to vote. Rest assured, the Congress aint getting my vote.

More students, not just the medicos, should come forward and join the strike. The government won’t listen until they are given a kick up their rear. Till now, the strikes have been peaceful. But if it continues this way, it won’t take long for the students to take up arms and battle it out with the police. Bloody brutes!!
