I abuse… am I cool?!
DISCLAIMER:
I’m not censoring anything. Don’t like foul language, don’t read.
This article makes no sense at all. Don’t think much after reading it.
On my recent visit to Delhi, I found out that my cousin in Class 6th abuses too. He uses foul language. Not just the plain and simple “kutta, kamina, ullu” but the bigger & meaner words like “bhainchod, madderchod”. I was quite surprised. Now all of us are hyprocrites. We abuse but we deny. I abuse. So do you. Who doesn’t? But what I see today is that abusing has become a sort of fad among youngsters. I am part of that movement too.
You see, its “uncool” to be polite.
The above statement applies especially to males. Abusing means that you’re macho. It means you’re not a sissy. YOU’RE A MAN!! On the other hand, the guys who don’t abuse have to sometimes face humiliation. I know for a fact that not abusing doesn’t mean that you’re not a man. For example, look at my dear friend Abhit Jhanji. He doesn’t abuse. Yes he doesn’t. Strange, isn’t it? But he’s a “man”. He’s not gay or a sissy or a wimp. He’s a raging heterosexual. On the other hand, look at Arjun Sheoran. The guy is a gem of a person but he can’t stop abusing. Now Arjun’s gonna be mad but dude you abuse!!! And it ain’t a sin. I abuse too.
Everywhere you go, you can spot boys hurling abuses at each other - “Oye saale BC, haraamzade teri maa ki…”. Its a bit rude but don’t we all abuse?? Why make funny faces on hearing such language?
The girls have hopped onto the “abuse” wagon. They don’t shy from using foul language. They think that if they abuse in English, they automatically become hip as well as polite. So you won’t spot many girls shouting “Bhainchod, Machod etc.” but you can definitely find them yelling “Fuck you, motherfucker, screw you, dickhead” at the top of their voices. Strange.
I started abusing profusely from 9th. I somewhat stopped in 11th. I realised that it wasn’t uncool to be polite. I abuse now and then but its different from the situation in class 9th when I used to attach an abuse with every sentence.
So if you think abusing is uncool, then don’t use foul language. Don’t give into peer pressure. Stay the way you are. But if you like abusing, then don’t restrict yourself to a few English words. Abuse freely!! Its not a question of being hip or cool. Its about expressing yourself freely, in your own “special” way

Abusing at my house is a no-no. Kutta-kamina, ullu-ka-pattha etc. are like normal stuff. I call my friends that even when my parents are around. But MC, BC is only used when I’m with my friends.
