Change…….. !?

Sacred Heart SSS— one of the top seeded schools of chandigarh. Ask a non-heartian and she would give you not a single compliment or would think of that school and its girls as something/one good! Why? Jealousy. Might be!(I never feel that way). And now, this jealousy has taken a concrete form—-the uniform of the senior girls has been changed—into a suit, that too without dupatta, with a short qawalli-jacket!!! Brown check and a white combo.
Ok!OK! come back. This change might seem to be a waste-of-time topic of discussion but the arguments in favor and against it are worth listening to.
AGAINST THE MOTION
People say that girls cross every limit of exposure, they dun understand that the length of their skirt is a bit too short, et al. they are forgetting Indian traditions and values and what not. For the first point, even I agree. Some girls have too short skirts. Leave S.Heart, come to my school and I can show you innumerable examples of girls who have such long skirts that when they bend you can read the brandname of their undies! Everyone wears nice-short skirts but they should differentiate b/w being smart and vulgar. I too wear a short skirt but never get those looks which these girls seem to enjoy!

Also, people have it that your uniform should not be a matter of your concern. You should come to study and Govt. schools also sport a suit. So what big deal!!!

FOR THE MOTION

I asked a heartian friend of mine as to what she thought and she just said,”divi, its good I came out last year! Its worse than a punishment. Suit—shit yaar!” They are against it. Plain and simple.
Girls say that this change shows hypocrisy in its full bloom. Progressive thinking and suits! Contrast. Moreover,S.Heart is an all girls school, so no boys and none of those hassles. The problem is when guys look at you and all that, but no boys—no problems.also, they say that S. Heart is a convent school and suits dun match the style of a convent!
NOTE: Those of you think that SACRED HEART is a convent school, it is not! There are 2 schools in CHD. which are convents. Carmel and ST. Anne’s. (Why so? Answer on request)

The bottom-line:— I dunno. U derive it!

    So, why so??

  2. Rahul Says:

OK… this is not a bad topic of discussion. If you hadn’t written about it, I would have.

I got to know about this from my dear Sister who is an ex-heartian. Well all my three sisters are ex-heartians!! I’m actually the only kid in my house whos not frm a Convent (n I lik dat!!)

But seriously ….. SUITS!!! Damn you stupid Nuns!! SUITS!!! Are you out of your minds!!! SUITS!!! STUITIIUOSDUSUTO!! Ok … ok!!
I seriously don wanna see some of the sexiest school going chicks in suits. Skirts look smart…. sexy…naughty!! They have a charm of their own.

LONG Skirts = Ghaghras suck big time. Short skirts, even the “vulgar” ones r cool!! :P

And those of you who think St. Anne’s is a convent… think again!! :D I seriously have nothing against the school but IMO, its nothing like a convent. Carmel is a school of spoilt girls (Oh yeah…. I love that school) who merely love showing skin. Frankly speaking, I didnt even know that a school by the name of St. Anne’s existed till 2002.

St. Anne’s, St. Stephens, Vivek High etc. house nothing but spoilt brats who are just full of themselves. I would still not call them good schools. Results suck, attitude of the kids suck…. nothing but a bunch of fake jokers. Vivek High is still sumwat better than the other 2…. but Anne’s n Stephens… well they should be categorised with AKSIPS n Guru Nanak Public School.

Bhavan Vidyalaya (my school)… too bloody Desi n restrictive though its fine.

    St. Johns is for Sissies

Sacred Heart is again too bloody protected n restrictive but the girls frm the school belong to a dif class.

Carmel Covnent - Sexy chicks with low IQ.

YPS (Mohali) - Too Far, Too many Surds but they have Horse Riding :D!!

Bottom Line - There’s no school in Chandigarh which is perfect. And Suits should be banned. Sacred Heart should rename itself to Pavitr Dil now. The Principal of SHS should be thrown out. Girls should revolt. I want the skirts back. Short skirts…. shorter…
And don’t cheapen the word “Convent” by calling Anne’s one.

  3. harry Says:

when it comes to quality I’d still have my kids joining YPS…..i can’t forget those 10 years of fine education spent there…trust me…we never had any…..any sort of dirt ’round! :D

  4. Kalyani Says:

Oh cumon. St. Anne’s is a gud place. Now every school has a mixed sort of population. I was dere for about 6 mnths and I met sum of the best ppl dere.

  5. divya Says:

    u really need 2 visit Anne’s, Rahul!
n a skul is not marked as a convent bcoz of the attitude, style or religion of the skul! plz guys, know the meaning 1st.ewwwwwww!
convent is a place where nuns reside n those skuls which have the residence of these nuns is a convent!!!!!!!! St. Anne’s is a convent in real sense, no probs vid Carmel or ne odr skul but daz the literal meaning of d skul.
n probably, ur impression of Anne’s is bad coz of the lot which came 2 Bhavan but trust me Anne’s is much-2 better.
i just brought d “convent” issue coz i wanted d ppl 2 know S. Heart is not a convent! again, there r only 2 in CHD.

  6. Niharika Says:

hahaha!!! rahul, i totally, absolutely, full heartedly agree with your opinions bout all the schools!! seriously, wouldn’t change a word!! johnians are sissies…u bet!!! :D :D :D rofl!!

  7. divya Says:

    I am not done with 1 !!!
Ppl, ever wondered why all these Christian skuls like S. heart, Stephen’s, many more dun attach the name “convent” with their names, daz coz these are Christian skuls and not convents. Its really not being biased, but I really need to tell you what is right! Imagine Kalyani saying dat it’s a gud place(she was just there 4 5-6 months) n I’ve been there for 9 years n I m most definitely not a spoilt brat or narcissistic having airs ‘bout myself!!!
N Priya if u r reading this, do comment( cumon, 4 once) coz u know dat Anne’s is a place 2 b.n also, as Kalyani said no skul is perfect n the crowd is of mixed type but Anne’s is still better.

This is goin off-topic! I think 1 can be progressive wearing a skirt also! N if not so, guys be ready to spot a dhoti!!!

  8. Rahul Says:

Divya –> Oh I know the meaning of Convent girl. As I have mentioned before, all my siblings are “CONVENT” educated. So I probably have as much knowledge bout Missionary schools as the students who study in them. And, where did you get the notion that I think that a convent is because of style, attitude n all?

My impression of Anne’s aint because of my juniors…. I’ve met tons of crappy people from Anne’s

Lastly, check your facts before you post, Sacred Heart is a convent. Wanna bet??!! :D Even St. Johns is 1.

  9. Rahul Says:

Kalyani –> I agree every school has a mixed crowd. But still, I don’t find Anne’s and Stephens good schools. I might be wrong but I don’t care.

Niharika –> APS Delhi = School Full of Jokers!!! :D Sadly, one of the clowns was sent to Chandigarh and now we have to bear her!!!! :D ;) :P

FINALLY —–> All schools are good. It just depends on the students….

    GMSSS 16 n 35…. even they’re not bad.

  10. Rahul Says:

Just one interesting fact came up while I was discussing this topic with my sis.

Welhams, Dehradun : A convent, All girls, one of the best schools in India. Uniform- Suits. And they look sexy… I’ve seen them in person.

Conclusion - We all need to shut up!! :P

And my sister, ever loyal to her school, now finally supports SHS.

  11. divya Says:

    k fine!
    i dun gamble!

  12. divya Says:

    kela ho giya yaar! :(

  13. Rahul Says:

Divya –> Kam se kam shart to laga sakti thi!!! Meri kamai ho jaati!

Harry –> Sorry for the late reply. Akismet caught ur reply as spam. I agree YPS is gud…. one of the best schools of India… but 2 far!! That’s the only hitch. They got everything, infrastructure, teachers, good environment…
And as I said before…. Horse Riding!! :P

  15. harry Says:

hey lets just abolish all this stupid ‘wear uniform’ birdy! damn! i really hated turning up to school each day and see everyone else wearing the same goofy dress :P

  16. Rahul Says:

Nah!! I love girls in skirts!!!

  17. Rahul Says:

    Or Tunics!!

  18. Niharika Says:

screw u rahul! i hate it when u take uncalled for digs at me! i mean, what did i say to u? n believe me, if u were in aps delhi, ud have hated it allright cz it’s not a school for ppl like u. watevr, neway, im not here to fight. just check wid ur facts first! or maybe im askin for too much!

  19. Rahul Says:

How can you be so sure?? I’ve lived in and around Delhi. So actually I’d have had no problems in adjusting to the lifestyle.
But ya, small, sleepy cities Chandigarh compliment my lazy personality!! :)
I thot mayb u wud get ur APS gang here to battle it out resulting in more hits to the site!! Shucks… the plan didn’t work!

  20. Niharika Says:

naah, they don’t waste time arguin with losers like you just to prove that we’ve got a kickass school! we friggin rock! well, neither do i… so continue.. i’m above all this! hmmmpphh!! :P :D

  21. Kumar Says:

…and I just thot my mom and dad sent me to school to learn english, science and maths.
    Here the school means
    a) Ban Suites
    b) Allow Skirts, shorter the better
    c) too many SURDs????
    d) Nunz
    e) Spoilt Brats
Is this the same generation which will make India again a “sone ki chidiya”
    Disappointing post for me.

  22. Rahul Says:

    Don’t worry… it will!!
N too many surdz was supposed to be a joke yaar :P !!

And all this was regarding just one school, so don’t bother much :) !

  23. Kumar Says:

hope it was just one out of mind post

  24. divya Says:

    hey, hey!
    it wasn’t outta mind
